“Hello, how are you? I have been promoted to Supervisor at my company”.
We are happy to receive a mail with the good news from Chanrun, one of our students who graduated with a technical degree a couple of years ago. Chanrun shares his story: “Thanks to Norway House I was able to study 2 years of technical training at Don Bosco. After graduating, I got a job with KDN company and my position was technician. I used to work outside, but on 2nd February 2015 I become a supervisor of TNC (testing and commissioning), and now I work in an office. My family was very poor. Most of the children cannot study in my village. I think I am a curious boy, because I really want to study. I am the youngest in my family; I have two elder sisters and one elder brother. My sister and brother do not study because my family had no money. They work as farmers. When I saw my brother and sister cannot study I was very sad, because I want to study. Now I am proud of myself and very happy with my new position as supervisor of team TNC. With the support of Norway House, I am also able to continue my studies at Western University part time. My major is English, and this year I am in year 2. I am very thankful to Norway House and all the support you give to me and the other kids. I love all of you very much.”
